We would like to invite you to be our guest for an incredible and inspiring evening honoring 34 agencies and schools dedicated to hunger prevention in our community at our Whole Bellies This Holiday benefit for Elephant Talk on Wednesday, October 19th from 6 – 9 PM.
Murphy Huston from KOSI 101 has graciously agreed to be our emcee for the evening and will be interviewing us tomorrow morning at 8:40 AM on KOSI 101.1 FM if you’d like to tune in! We anticipate guests from 9 News at the event as well. 
WHAT
Benefit for 34 Agencies & Schools Fighting Hunger in Denver
Whole Foods Market, Blacktie Colorado, Metropolitan Homes, and KOSI 101 to host a benefit for Elephant Talk and 34 hunger prevention programs in Denver this Wednesday evening.
These agencies and schools are being honored for their hunger prevention work in Denver at the Whole Bellies This Holiday benefit for Elephant Talk. Elephant Talk distributes 50 tons of food a week and feeds 10,000 families each month with full groceries through six super pantries.
In addition to catered fare, 20 local food artisans will provide samples and products to guests.
WHEN
Wednesday, October 19, 2011. 6 – 9 PM
WHERE

The event is being held at the beautiful new District 475 facility located at 10111 Inverness Main Street, Englewood – www.district475.com – near Dry Creek and I-25.

From I-25:

1. Take the Dry Creek exit

2. GO East on Dry Creek

3. Continue through to Inverness Drive West Intersection

4. Make a right at the first turn-in immediately before CoreFirst Bank

5. Follow the parking lot to the left

6. Look for the red awnings with the District 475 logo


Light Rail Accessible – Dry Creek Station (Venue is on the east side of I-25 via a foot bridge from the train station in the Vallagio center) 
WHY

Hunger prevention agencies experience an exponential increase in demand for their services during the holiday season. This benefit will unite the community and reveal the extensive network of groups working on the front lines to keep families fed and thriving in Denver.

Guests will learn about their life saving missions and how we can feed those in need this holiday. Suggested donation: $35. No one will be turned away.

100% of the $35 per person registration fee will go directly to feeding the hungry in metro Denver this Holiday Season.

* 6 to 7pm – Appetizers and Happy Hour with acoustic music from two different singer / songwriters (very good)
* 7 to 8pm – Sharing insight into the growing problem of hunger in metro Denver – lead by Murphy Huston, morning host of KOSI 101
* 8 to 10pm – Dancing and enjoying the evening with Motown / Atlantic Records Soul DJ Scott Stovall (great dancing music)
